Educational Games

We believe that learning has to be fun. This is why we encourage our tamariki to spend time playing ‘edutaining’ games. When an educational game is fun, learning is easy!

By encouraging learning from an early age, we ensure that our tamariki have a great, foundation knowledge. We love to help them develop a passion for learning in a fun environment. Ultimately, all of our tamariki are already in a good learning habit, ready for when they progress to primary school.

Arts & Crafts

Learning is so much more than facts and figures! All of our tamariki love exploring their creative sides through arts and crafts. Not only can arts and crafts help cement basic maths and literacy through visual exploration, but it allows a child to express their creative side.

All whilst learning and developing their creativity, our tamariki are developing their fine motor skills and communication. The beauty with arts and crafts is that each child produces something unique to them that they and their caregivers can be proud of. Just pop their artwork on the ‘fridge and enjoy the biggest smile!

All arts & crafts are created in a clean, safe and fun environment and supervised by our staff who help in the creativity process.

Our centre is licensed for 75 Children from zero to six years old, with up to 20 aged under two. If you are interested in enrolling a child at Harakeke Early Learning Centre, please fill out an enquiry form. A staff member will then contact you to discuss availability.
